Job Summary
BackLite Media is seeking a highly motivated individual for the Business Development team who will be responsible for pursuing direct client opportunities in Dubai. This role requires an individual who can combine a solid understanding of the advertising market in Dubai with creative selling skills to forge long-term deals with a variety of potential partners.
We are looking for someone that can:
• Forge strategic content partnerships with Direct clients
• Manage existing relationships
• Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well both as an individual and within a team environment
• Demonstrate propensity to juggle multiple competing priorities
• Have a strong understanding of the Dubai advertising sector
• Be adept at cultivating, evaluating and negotiating sound commercial agreements
Skills
You’ll need the following skills to be successful in this role:
• 2+ years of sales / business development / strategic media experience.
• Demonstrated history of quota attainment; ability to evaluate sound business opportunities and close deals
• Seasoned prospecting skills (relating to advertising)
• Internet savvy and proficient in office productivity tools, specifically Excel
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Propensity to adapt to changing environments
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle projects of sensitive or urgent nature in a professional and timely manner
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours (if necessary) to accomplish business objectives
